Does anyone happen to have any high res photos of Carlisle-based Geoff Bell’s trucks please? He was running red Volvos in the 1960s and 1970s, and white DAFs in the 1980s-2000s. He also traded as Bell Holiday. Or, any pictures of the Carlisle Truck Inn, which he opened in the late 1970s.
I’ve just written a feature on his life story for Commercial Motor magazine, but am really struggling to illustrate it. We can pay £25 for every picture used.

I think it was his son who has posted a few pics on a FB site a while ago and he had compiled a book regarding Geoff Bells history, the book is named The Geoff Bell Story and looking at the cover it has 2 of the red Volvo’s you mentioned, it is for sale on Amazon, Cheer’s Pete
