is it me, or does it seem that nowadays in the UK in national transport , everyone seems to be just trolley dollying, what happened to general haulage, i.e. doing totally different work during the week, pulling different trailers etc, tramping, spending your life delivering to Tesco’s, sainsbury’s etc must be mind numbing
Hiya i think a bit of general is been done, its all behind curtains though, i saw a haulier on a industrial est
nr my home a few weeks ago, the trailer had 3 huge lumps of some type of stone inside…it may have looked
like cornflakes going down the motorway. i’ve seen 3 tractors in a curtain sider.it was fun in the old days
looking how loads was fastened on, or if it was a load of machinery trying to workout what the machine was
for. we used to carry press plates for sewerage works, some drivers would ask , what are they for ,
when we stopped at a cafe, so its seens everything is hideing in a curtain sider no to be seen,
