Well according to the experts on here it don’t exist so the only conclusion anybody can draw is that Mr J Button must have spent all the running money.[emoji3][emoji3][emoji3]
Gassed through the air con unit, how on earth would that work!
Here is the original source, say no more.

An anestholigist has stated on Trucknet the knock out gas does not exist in a portable format, only an expert with years of training can measure the correct dosage to match different body weights.
If it did exist, why has nobody died of an over dose or the tongue muscle relaxed so it
Falls to the back of the throat .
Gassed my arse, ■■■■■■ up and left a window open more like.
That said I will keep this in my pocket in case the worst happens at my gaff, a la JB I will inform the insurance company that no I didnt leave the house insecure after a night on the vodka, apparently some burgular types have sprayed easystart through the letterbox rendering the household incapacitated.
I feel his pain though as my car is also crap.
Sounds like bollox to me

The RCA statement reads;
“If there was a totally SAFE, odourless, potent, cheap anaesthetic agent available to thieves for this purpose it is likely the medical profession would know about it and be investigating its use in anaesthetic practice.”
There are plenty of cheap gases that will render someone unconscious, but they’re not safe. How much do you think the thieves care for your wellbeing? I don’t imagine they think twice about using an unsafe gas with unknown consequences just as long as the victim(s) don’t wake up and cause a fuss or attack them.

So where are all the dead bodies from when the criminal masterminds misjudged the dosage of the “unsafe” gases?

No idea.
However gases such as Argon, Nitrogen and Helium for example can all render someone unconscious, and if enough is inhaled, kill them. The person inhaling it will not have any symptoms of oxygen starvation so won’t wake up choking. They are all very easily and cheaply available and leave no biological or forensic evidence in the body as all they do is starve the brain of oxygen and then dissipate.
I realise that any opinion on gassing is always going to have 2 very opposite camps on this forum, generally those that experienced it, and those that think it’s just an excuse for the consequences of getting drunk, or spending all the running money. I have 2 very good friends who claim to have been gassed, 1 in Spain (can stripped of all valuable possessions) and 1 in the UK (diesel tanks completely drained). Both of them are decent honest blokes who are not prone to exaggeration or RDC bulls**t stories.
And the reason I completely believe them is that approx 15 years ago I woke up one morning in Jabbeke with exactly the same symptoms they described, I overslept by 5 hours and when I got my head together found I had a TIR cord sealed curtain sider full of extra passengers.
I’m not saying every story you hear will be true, let’s face it, plenty of drivers will see it as a great excuse for when they’ve cocked up. But my experience suggests to me that it can happen.

Argon, Nitrogen and Helium displace Oxygen containing air, so will need very careful monitoring to ensure there is still enough oxygen left in the cab to just render someone unconscious without killing them.
There will be ample biological or forensic evidence that the dead bodies were killed by lack of Oxygen caused by it being displaced by an inert gas. The gas may well leak out of the cab and return to a normal air mixture, but the blood gases of a dead body will still register excessive amounts of whichever gas is used. It won’t dissipate out of the blood because you have to be breathing to remove gas from your blood.
Simon, I am not a biologist or an expert in any way, and have merely suggested some gases that could be used to render someone unconcious.
A quick investigation would however seem to suggest that both Argon and Helium could be detected in abnormal levels during an autopsy, but only if the circumstances of death were such that looking for them was considered necessary, ie suspected asphyxiation.
Unfortunately the detection of Nitrogen is far less likely as certain levels are always present in our lungs and blood.
Nitrogen has apparently now become the preferred agent for those poor souls wishing to commit suicide and have a need for their death certificate to read anything but suicide. Unless evidence to prove nitrogen asphyxiation is found at the scene then it is apparently impossible to ascertain an accurate cause of death.
However, that’s all just speculation. The experts have stated there is no gas available to render people unconscious safely in these alleged incidents. I’ll accept that, but I’m still concerned that that leaves a lot of gases that can render someone unconscious in an unsafe manner.
I think the absence of dead bodies and/or hundreds of people pulled from their cabs/campers etc in comas or with long term brain damage supports the assertion that these dangerous gases are not being used either.
“To our knowledge there has never been a burglary like this in St Tropez, where gas has been used to knock out the victims,” said local prosecutor Philipp Guemas

I studied some biology at university, nearly 40 years ago, as a part of the course of study I was doing. Eventually the university realised I wasn’t brainy enough n threw me out. It was good while it lasted though
Asphyxiation leaves obvious tell-tales, blue lips and fingernail beds are the most obvious and well known. The only gas I can think of that doesn’t turn the victim blue is carbon-monoxide, which turns them red. The red is because haemoglobin is more attracted to carbon-monoxide than it is to oxygen. It also won’t let go of carbon-monoxide, so stays bright red. Haemoglobin is the part of blood which transports oxygen.
There is a known percentage of Nitrogen in ‘air’ mixture, I can’t remember what it is off the top of my head. So the percentage of Nitrogen in blood is equally known.
Asphyxiation leaves obvious signs. Lack of injuries of any sort, or other well known signs of breathing being blocked manually (by a pillow for eg) would lead to asking the question “why did this person asphyxiate?”. Which would take the medics straight to testing blood gasses. They would probably use a Spectrometer, which would tell a technician what was out of kilter pretty quickly

This is what I think too. Possibly not as many as hundreds, but certainly high tens.
