There is a lorry park but its no use best bet is take the Peebles Road and park up to the right of B & Q
Either B&Q but i think there is double yellows on that street? but doubt anything would be said or the opposite side of Galashiels where the booker is. Both are about 5-10minute walk from asda/tesco for supplies. Agree with above you’ll see a parking sign with a picture of a lorry as you drive through the town centre, do not go up there if you’re in a artic its full of parked cars and its far too tight, i ended up having to reverse into a primary school carpark to get myself out of trouble. Whoever deemed that to be a parking place for lorries is off their ■■■■■■■ head.
Go round the one way in gala, when tescos front door is on your right, turn left down passed the old mills, the end of that street you can only turn right @ the uni, few hundred yards up and your in the lorry park.

if your not bothered about being in the town, carry on down towards melrose and 1/2 miles down that road theres a couple of industrial estates that are quiet and nobody will bother you
I parked there years ago - late 80’s! Think it was opposite the bus station - stayed in a b&b. Great place with friendly staff.
