Hi all,
You may be able to help me: I’m looking for as many stories and pictures there are about the old company belonging to Goff Radcliffe (Radcliffe of London, Radcliffe Eurotrans, G P Radcliffe & Son) He seems to have went through a few different names. I believe he was operating from London, Manchester, Bournemouth and Plymouth through the 60s to the 80s or 90s, I may be inaccurate though. If anybody has anything, I’ve found somethings already, it would be appreciated.
Thank you
There was a substantial article on Goff and his doings in one of the vintage/classic magazines a while back spread over two or three issues. Could have been Vintage Roadscene, Heritage Commercials, or Classic and Vintage Commercials. Worth trying to trace it, I can’t help further as I had to auction off my mag collection when I ran out of space .

Hi
I worked for Goff for 6 years between 1991-97 on European work until he packed up and made me redundant. I loved every minute of it and I’m still in touch with Goff now. Radcliffe Eurotrans was based in Cowbeech, Hailsham, Sussex, up until Goff packed it in in ‘97. It was run from his farm, just a handful of trucks, then I was last MAN standing?! A sad day when it ended, mainly due to rates being so poor.
Ps,I’ll try and post some pics soon.
