Its like when you vote. You know that your one vote wont make a difference but if everyone looked at it that way, nobody would vote because it would be seen as a waste of time.Maybe the Chinese think, well,we’re not going to bother because the Americans arent doing enough. The Americans might think its not worth reducing greenhouse gases because Brazil is chopping down the rain forests and son on As long as people have this attitude,we wont make any progress. The saddest thing about this is the innocent ones who havent caused the problem will have to suffer, grandchildren, offspring, whatever you want to call them

I’ll bet…
That’s exactly how they feel in Russia when it’s election time and the polls are open and the armed soldiers appear in small groups on street corners.

You’re delusional or extremely naive.
Scoffers.
Those of you that laugh and scoff at me for raising this issue, you fail miserably, because I wont be affected by climate change.I dont have enough years left,Ive got my nice little pension and life is good. You are only laughing at your OWN grandchildren etc who will have to suffer the effects of global warming

As opposed to subjecting future generations to the effects of nuclear disaster and nuclear waste that remains lethal for tens of thousands of years and an energy policy based on burning the trees that turn CO2 into Oxygen and covering the fields they need to feed them in solar panels thereby turning the soil into an infertile sterile dust bowl by light starvation.
All to solve a fictitious problem based on the lie that Earth’s atmospheric CO2 level will cause a supposed runaway green house effect.

If you feel that strongly about it why don’t you stop driving a vehicle with a huge 13 litre engine that is killing all our grandchildren?
Oh hang on , you drive this killing machine with a light right foot….
So now you can sleep at night because you’ve saved your grandchildren?
■■■■ right off!
Do you use your car to go to work?
If you do, you’re poisoning the planet for my grandchildren.
I dont use my terrible gas guzzling car to commute-i don’t need to.
How far do you live from where you work?
I hope you don’t drive a car to get to work—you should get a job closer to where you live to save all our grandchildren …if everyone did a little bit ….
Have a ■■■■■■■ look at yourself fella-and if you tell me you cycle to work and cycle to the supermarket for the weekly shop I’m calling you out for being either a ■■■■■■■■■■■ or a hypocrite

Unfortunatley,I have to drive to work because there arent any jobs within walking distance and working up to 15 hours,it’s not possible to cycle to and from work although I did it once and it was a terrifying exoerience having trucks wizzing past on the A roads.
I dont class my truck’s emmisions as part of my carbon footprint. It’s ultimatley the customer who needs the goods delivered. You cant take all the trucks off the road,I get that. Its like,if you book a holiday on one of those huge cruise ships, you cant expect the captain of the ship to be responsible for the huge envoiremental damage they cause.Ive seen them at Southampton bellowing out huge amounts of black smoke, they’re a disgrace
Carryfast.
I think the problem is ,we produce that much CO2,the trees cant process it all,and along with fewer and fewer trees,we need to either stop burning oil or plant more trees or use carbon capture mechanically but something MUST be done

How much supposed excess CO2 are you talking about.
Bearing in mind the 0.04% figure and exactly how much of that figure are you saying is ‘too much’ for plant life to ‘process’ and created by the burning of fossil fuel.
As opposed to the bare minimum required to sustain photosynthesis.
As for fewer and fewer trees that’s obviously not helped by burning them to generate the electricity for your zero fossil fuel nightmare.
The truth is on planet Earth CO2 = Oxygen and burning trees, to reduce the CO2 that the trees turn into Oxygen, sums up your Satanic ideas and plans for our planet all based on typical Satanic trickery and lies.

I’m sure that sea transport is actually more fuel efficient than rail.
Strange how you seem to have issues with that but not air transport.
Regardless of your private transport choices I take it that you’ve obviously gone all electric at home to take advantage of your nuke and tree and solar panel fuelled utopian nightmare.

I hold the ships’ captains responsible, if they refused to sail, the murderous smoke wouldn’t be produced.
If you were as responsible as you expect everyone else to be, you would either get a job closer to home, or a home closer to the job.

The answer to the question, have you replaced the gas fired central heating with an electric boiler, is a better indicator of the do as I say type control freaks.
Ironically I’m thinking about doing just that not because I think planet Earth has a CO2 problem.
But with the system shut down and drained with a U/S circulation pump I’m finding that the electric immersion heater is doing a relatively better job of providing hotter water quicker, as and when I need it, at the flick of a switch.
Maybe combine an electric boiler with a heat pump and some solar panels on every fence and the shed roof not the bleedin lawn, with possible government grants and getting rid of the gas standing charge, just might be a good option economically.
But my conscience regarding by implication supporting Sploom’s satanic nuke, tree burning and solar panel fuelled agenda will probably write off that idea.
Hypocrites indeed.

Hypocrite it is then.what a surprise.
If I told you I rode everywhere on a bike, you would call me smug, lol
No, we’d call you honest. It’s not a difficult concept.
I wish I could ride my bike to work but its simply too impractical.
Carryfast.
I dont know what Satan has to do with global warming!
But seriously here is a page about the annual parts per million of CO2.You can see how it has risen by a quarter since 1970 and it is rising every year.
climate.gov/news-features/u … on-dioxide
You dont need to be a mathematician to work out you either need to produce less of the stuff or you have to find ways of removing it in order to reverse the trend
