Friday night M5 accident

There ya go J.D. You sit and mock those poor [zb] that suffered and perished because someone human made an error of judgement. You should be ashamed of yourself.

It’s nothing to do with error of judgement…It’s a [zb] idiotic statement from a total tool.

We really need a like button!!!

My thoughts go out to those involved in and those dealing with this horrific incident. :frowning:

its been headlines since yesterday evening yet at 4 am today as I was southbound on M1 people were still toe down and tailgating through dense fog. The best was an empty coach from luton that was flashing me as I was overtaking a slow mover about J16, I then passed him when he stopped for fuel at Newport Pagnell, WTF was the point!

switchlogic:
I have a massive amount of sympathy for all concerned, including the emergency services that must be going through hell. Think of all those families that have been changed forever. Any of us could get swept up by a tragic incident like this. Whinging about blame or being held up at such a time is pathetic. Hundreds of lives have been ruined. Think of all the people waking up this morning to hear something none of us ever want to hear. Not to mention members of the emergency services who have probably seen things that will haunt them forever. To me hours sat in traffic is less than nothing compared to a human life.

I couldn’t agree more

bigvern, you have hit the nail on the head , I couldnt agree more. Blokes a bell end of the highest order.

If this was caused by A.N. Other driver, they quite possibly made it home safely, blissfully unaware.

att:
Long overdue in my opinion, no matter how tragic it all is.

Overdue? Really? I’m sorry but the death and serious injury of large numbers of people is never due, let alone overdue. It’s like saying we’re overdue an awful terrorist attack. People make bad decisions, take stupid risks or drive badly but it doesn’t ever mean we’re due a horrific incident.

jessicas dad:
no sympathy from me…

i got stuck on the M42 today due more drivers who struggle going in a straight line with everyone going the same direction :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

I think Jessica is fortunate to still have a Dad, if he was travelling near Taunton last night she might have lost her Dad, what an ignorant self centred comment from someone who got held up in traffic, I think TN should seriously consider banning Jessicasdad for such a thoughtless post.
My condolences to the family’s of those who lost their lives and speedy recovery to those injured

condolences to the families involved in this incident!!!

I,m with bigvern on this as well as the others that have commented on jd,s coment…

its disgusting comment from a so called pro driver and family man, we all make mistakes at times, I know I do and at times its sheer luck that I get away with it, however I learn from my mistakes and move forward and hopefully makes me a better driver…

again i,m also with bigvern in the respect that some members seem to be in the secret handshake club and get away with comments where as others get ripped to shreads…

MUG…Man up, rethink and then apologise for your ill-thought, selfish comment :imp:

I add my support to every post which criticizes the asinine ■■■■■■■ post by TNUK,s very own former Naked Rambler and Site Moderator, I have seen some crap posts on this site, but that comment,- (coming as it does from a clown who was once in a position to censor other people,s posts),- about what is being described as the worst incident in British Motorway history, takes some ■■■■■■ whacking. He must be suffering withdrawal symptoms after not being allowed to flash his ■■■■ at the annual “do” any more. ■■■■■■. :smiling_imp:

As to those involved in the pile-up, which I watched on the late night news, and also this mornings broadcasts. I offer my sympathy to all those involved. Especially those who either lost their lives, or are injured,as a result of it.

What hits home is this could happen to anyone of us. You can go into work and never come back again, you never know what is round the next bend or corner. Watching the news it looks exceptionally bad and if your husband/wife was driving a iceland truck or tnt truck in that area which are clearly visible your heart would be in your mouth.

It’s only a matter of time before this thread get’s locked. This only goes to prove, what I and others that have been shot down for . That there is a select few on here that stick together. And being as this waste of space is in that club. We will see the thread locked/ removed or receive PM’s from the chosen ones.
You’ll see. :unamused:

watching it now on the bbc, it’s sobering viewing
from what i can see there’s minumim of 3 truck i can see, iceland daf cf, plain reno preium and a tnt reno that has jackedknifed, and there is at least 7 cars there aswell.

my thoughts are with everyone who was there, and their family’s

Awefull tragedy! Could have been ANYONE of us that makes a living from the roads!
Was saying on news that there was a fireworks display going on at the time…could that have been the distraction that caused it?
Thoughts go out to all that were involved!

Can we get back to the point which is the crash on the m5 instead of having a go at J D for what he said ( which was wong and he probably regrets now ) They are saying that the thick fog came down realy fast and all started from there.R.I.P to them that have lost there lifes and thincking of the others.

It’s a dreadful thing that happened. We are blessed that we are here to be able to comment.
Tension is high on here, because of [zb] saying things in terrible taste. I’m guilty of taking the ■■■■…But would never stoop so low as to demean those innocent folk that are no longer here.
You can fight that [zb] corner all day. How did he so eloquently put it…?

“NO SYMPATHY FROM ME.”

I’ve been up and down that M5 and i must say i didn’t like it at all.

I hope the families cope with losing there loved ones to a tragic accident that was not caused by them.

R.I.P

To many people are also quick to point the finger without knowing the fact’s and if i was those people i would sit back and think before you post.

I sure do hope that the families won’t come across this subject and read what was put.
