Hi,
Does anyone know the cost to send a euro 5 vehicle through either the Frejus or MontBlanc tunnels?
Been several years since we had anything in Italy and been asked to price a job.

if you’re not in a rush, you could run across the bottom without any tunnel tolls.
it’s about 200 miles longer, but much cheaper.

How the hell can 200 miles longer be cheaper

So those 200 miles are running on toll free autoroutes down to and along the coast into Italy are they ? Then of course there’s the extra 4 hours extra driving

when you do all the calculations regarding the saving on the tunnel cost, then adding on the extra road tolls, there is still a saving. however, there is still more driving to be done. but there’s some lovely views of the med.
i’d still usually use the tunnel, but i thought i’d point out an alternative.
you can buy tickets on the italian side in the coffee bar at the tunnel vat free 228 euro they last 1 year you just gota get there
I used to buy my tickets after the Fejus tunnel in singles so could be used either way. last time i was there , yes few years ago there was no garage coffee bar nothing it had been flattened . go across the bottom, do you mean the vent 4 hours more like 1 day all tolls. ok yes i used to mont cenis as a driver but as an owner driver i used mt geneve is that still open for trucks. haaaaaaa go across the bottom your so funny
They used to be 50quid for a pair of Frejus singles in Jayat, there were always a few pinned up behind the jump

i’ve done it a few times when i’ve tipped at the docks in marseille. don’t know what’s so funny? the views are great, there are less peages than going via the blanc, it’s longer, but it’s cheaper.
Shame about the weight limit for Monaco, could pop in there and have a flutter in the casino, bump in to Jenson Button maybe. Some nice views in Cannes and Nice area along the coast, and Russian ladies waiting for a bus wearing mini skirts?
