I’m sure there are plenty of you out there with one of these devices, but I’m thinking of getting one but was wondering what people think and what they are like, and whether the laptop has to be an up to date latest model type etc.
Freesat needs satellite you mean freeview dongle ?
yeah you’ve got the idea, its a freeview dongle you can get them in maplins etc just wondered if they are any good, worth investing in?
i Bought one and could never get it to work 
This is what i use for my ipad, its an IDTV freeview box, its a great bit of kit to watch the tv without using up your internet data.
