Anyone got any info on Francis Transport from Northwich?? . run various Leyland Daf`s, Blue and White colours,
looking for info on type of work, wages and conditions in general, any one on here work for them??..
They have a few trucks running out of Milton Keynes on a contract for a firm called Alpha spoke to a few of the drivers seem quite happy with it all not much moaning about it .Dont know about money side though
a lad who used to work for us has gone there.it was his dream job hes been waiting like 2 years to get on there said it was not easy to get in there.dont what the money is like but most of the time its takea loaded trl down drop it and pick a empty up i believe think the have back loads all over the uk for customers.plus they never run at full weight at allseen him a few time up and down the country.
he was just after a easy life not a prorper job where u have to learn to rope and sheet or chain steel up or do long and wide loads.id rather be working doing stuff then waiting for them to loada trl over 3 or 4 hours like some of these places.plus he wanted a bigger motor than a 85cf he wanted 95xf space cab
I heard that the moneys’ not too clever as you’re on a basic wage plus what the truck earns however a lot of John Francis’ drivers do stay loyal.
