Formula for average weekly hours calculation

Hi

In working rules says average 48 hours weekly.

How can I calculate my average?

Is there a formula
Thank you

Buy the truckertimer app by spotty dog. Does it for you.
Or the old fashioned way add all your hours together for the last 17 weeks then divide it by 17.
It’s easier to buy the app

Surely that question was a wind up ? If not just use the calculator on your phone it’s not rocket science.

Why would a driver need to calculate this?

Why would a driver need to calculate this?

Maybe he’s a self employed agency bod.

I hear what your saying Rog but he obviously just wants to do things right by the sound of it so good on him.

If its all on digi then perhaps the easiest and most accurate way would be to have the records analysed if he wants it to be spot on

Thanks for replies
The reason I want to calculate is that
I am doing 60 hrs (driving+other work) almost every week
And I want to bring it up to 48 in average

Work out the total hours of working time you’ve done in the current reference period, then divide the total by the number of weeks since the start of the current reference period.

See here for clarification

Only 4 weeks of holls needs to be included - all holl days over the 4 weeks can be counted as zero hours for RTD
