Thanks for the info Rog.If I read that right it’s optional as to wether they take a British test to claim the British licence if they come from the designated countries?.In that case I’d say the problem’s got as much to do with allowing the new East European EU states to be allowed under that scheme as designated areas as it has to do with the driving test issue?.However the fact is that if that report is right his employers had a driver who’d never taken a British LGV test driving a British truck with a British licence which he’d only recently held but had managed to get 9 points on and then caused a fatal accident?.While British drivers can’t find jobs and find themselves diciplined for getting 3 points.
Can not see why not statistics prove they are poor drivers,and some of the vehicles I have seen I would not do local work with them,Carry on do as they please were the mugs of Europe
