Ford wagon & drag

I nicked this off Facebook…I kinda want one.

It’s not a wagon and drag, it’s thruway double. A wagon and drag is a rigid with trailer, this is a tractor unit pulling two 48 foot trailers, quite common over here, but you would never see a tractor like that because it was just a prototype that never went into production… It’s also ugly

I still want a shot in it I think it looks ace.

Does look like the front end off some gay looking Winnebago

Looks like it should run on tracks.

It was an experimental gas turbine concept. You can see that the garcons at Renault had a look at it when they came up with the idea for the Magnum.

Looks like a ford cortina mk1 with an extra axle and a huge cab shoved over what would be the cortina cabin

I am sure that’s the one that was in some of the Truck books from the 70s it was well before its time then. Eddie.

As well as having a gas turbine it was also fitted with an onboard toilet. Yes, really.

We all have on board toilets, they are called ‘gallon cans’ or for the more solid items, roadside woodland LOL

i have an onboard toilet as well, evian 2 ltr ( bigger opening hole than your standard small ■■■■ pepsi bottle !!!)

its a messy job though when i,m doing my no. twos, a bit like golden shot !!!
