At home for the day, doing the washing up I looked up and literally in the space of less than two minutes since I last looked out of the window the visibility had changed from two hundred yards to less than 50 yards.
Take care out there gents.

The weather is bad here but I’m not driving today so it’s all good.
I’m colour blind, can’t register greys so I never see fog. Life is always sunny for me.
Just a bit misty and murky in litchfield

Blazing sunshine, not a cloud or fog anywhere in the sky…
Just wondering how many flights have been diverted up here to Newcastle airport from everywhere else…?
We have had the fog here for a week now, however now that ‘the south’ have got the stuff it makes the national news!
Pete.
It’s the day when the idiots of the road who have fogs on all year round decide not to put them on, and those fools in silver cars that think it’s acceptable just to put on their sidelights - camouflage!
Was blimmin cold here first thing but bright sunshine.
I recall early in the early 90’s coming out of London after an over night stop and going up the A13 for a backload and the fog started to get too thick for my comfort (down to about 20 feet visibility) so I pulled into a layby and grabbed a burger and coffee. Stayed there for about 30 minutes till it started to clear as the sun got through and got on my way. Less than couple of mile further up it was carnage, must have been 20 vehicles in a pile up and bent out of shape with a couple ripped apart.
Sticks with me to this day.
