I just saw this the other morning (well, I see it every morning actually) and thought some of you may enjoy it.
Anyway…
Here is a picture of a Foden, currently parked in my company’s compound.
Brings back happy memories, Gardner or Foden 2-stroke, but probably with the unforgettable 12 speed box. A great tool. Comfort by the standards of the day.

Probably not, but I do remember a Foden dragging a tri-axle round a corner in Middlesboro’ about 40 odd years ago, but it was only about 28ft and I was just a bit worried some tyres were about to start popping off
