Morning all, Does anyone work or know someone who works or has worked for fly by night?.
What are they like etc. etc. etc. much appreciated thanks.
i worked beside an ex fly by night driver, said it was alright but its just like any touring company really. only thing is you have to be 25 and have experience which is very hard to come by in that game.
expect long trips away but a good wage at the end of the day, youll have a set daily wage instead of hourly pay. also they have just got a load of new daf xfs.
also when you double man trips second driver does not get a hotel so there is two of you in the truck the whole trip/tour…

really? {zb} that, trucks aint big enough for double man for that long lol.

I was under the impression that you couldnt double man anymore and the second guy had to go into a hotel?? i may be wrong tho??

Because of the beloved digi card double driving will become more & more!
As for Hotels depends on the company, some do some don’t & won’t share cabs! On our last double drive in July
on a Redburn job both our trucks with digi’s ran out of time 1 n arf hours from the drivers hotel so we stopped & basically kicked em out! Not our fault we were short of their destination, they had to call a cab.
How can you let a bloke you have only met that day sleep with you! Would you let a stranger of the street sleep in your house!
