The A36 at Cleveland Bridge has a 18 ton limit at Bath, but over 18 ton you can transit Bath via the Lower Bristol Road to the A4 on the Western side.
It’s a no go via Winsley as there is low bridge 4.1 metres at Limpley Stoke if you exit the A36 at the bottom of Brassknocker Hill.
Where the road is shut is by the Cereal Partners factory at Staverton , the road closure will force HGV traffic to use the A350 Chippenham as the diversion.
