question for the knowledgeable ones
if i was to buy a truck with a digi tacho unit, how long do i have before i need to buy the relevant equipment to download the driver card and the tacho unit itself?
and where would be the best place to get the stuff from?
all my current trucks are analogue, so, i am just thinking for the future

For once I’m gonna give you a sensible answer, I personally don’t think there is a limit but i guess 28 days (due to having to download your card at least every 28 days, most firms do it every week though).
eBay would be a start mate, don’t know if you can get the ones to download the unit on there but I’m pretty sure its just a usb kinda thing you stick in the head unit then download it to your pc. im guessing you have to pay for the software 
unless you know someone who knows someone else!
