Finally, health and safety gone mad!

I was sent a picture of soldiers from my old regiment working inside this mega-temporary hospital in London assembling the beds.
They are all wearing hi vis vests on top of combat jackets FFS.

They’re wearing camouflage so they’d blend into the background and would get hit by forkies without the hi-viz…v

I did not see any thing inside to blend into ,the hi viz blended in better

Deer hunters in the USA wear DPM Rambo style combats to look tough, and bright orange day-glo vests so their fellow hunters don’t kill them.

Just a small illustration of the confused relationship they have with guns.

Trump doesn’t bother with the vest, he just applies an extra layer of orange make-up.

Deer and some other animals dont "see colour" the same way we humans do. They dont see reds and oranges very well, so won`t see the orange as a bright colour.

Yep, bright orange camo…
.
And tigers seem to manage OK too.

Matadors have always flourished a red cape at the bull. Even though the bull cant really see it. Its just for the theatrical effect on the audience.

The combat jackets are their working clothes. As an ex-soldier you should know this.

The hi-viz is an essential part of working in an enclosed space where the likes of FLT’s are scooting around.

Unless of course you’d prefer them to be wearing Number 2 dress!

They are wearing their usual “workwear” and are also wearing hi-vis vests in the hope of making them a tiny bit more conspicuous to any co-worker operating forklifts or other MHE in the vicinity. What’s your issue?

DPM not working clothes indoors, coveralls maybe would be better described as working clothes.
As a know it all patronising prat I thought you would know this.

They aren’t wearing their usual “workwear” at all, usual “workwear” is either coveralls or barrack dress!
Yet another know it all that knows nowt!

Without seeing the photo that you claim to have been sent, it’s difficult to know what was actually being worn. Will we see it? Does it actually exist?

How do you override the limiter on an artic from 56mph to 62mph, purely to make me feel at home and get freebies at the services■■?
