I was returning home today and for a moment I thought I was day-dreaming… On I-69 just south of I-94 in Michigan I saw a beautiful, beautiful brand new Volvo FH 12 4x2 white in colour shining like a coin !
It was southbound , I was northbound and I don’t have a CB in my truck …
But wow !.. What could it be doing here ? Why ?
Very exciting

The motor you’ve got on your avatar was seen on the M1 in the UK last week and it was one of the extended cab ones like yours, not a normal length sleeper cab like we have over here. The bonneted Volvo’s are rare over here as it is, but an extended one was ultra-rare .
Sshhhh! Dont tell Pat Hasler, he has just had to have a new Freightliner
Eventually It will dawn on the Americans that the Euro truck market is way ahead of them.
I see a lot of Conventionals running in France Rob, the problem here is the length I think, although there are a few French and Belgian trucks getting over
There are many testing facilities in Michigan, and I often used to see European cars and trucks in the area around Flint and just north of there.
Reminds me of the ERF EC11 8 legger I saw just outside D.C. back in 1996, almost fell out of my cab with disbelief!
