Monday morning as I drove down I-87 to NYC a truck came by pulling a skelly with a Mersk container, it was travelling at a fair rate of speed and I noticed the rear, right inner tyre was flat ans shredding … Nothing new for a container driver there then :laughing: But beijg a good bloke I thought I had better tel the man, I called him on the CB and told him, this had no effect on his rate of speed :laughing: he did say thanks and asked where I was from, I told him and he said he was from Ipswich (Nothing new to containers then).
Anyway turns out he was a good sort called ‘Harry the Limey’ :laughing:
We ran together for about 50 miles and some other driver told him about his shredding tyre so he slowed down a tad. Weds morning I was nearing Ramapo plaza and saw his trusty steed in my mirror, we stopped at the Pilot in Wahwah NJ for a bevy and exchanged phone numbers etc. Good old sort, saw him again this morning but he was going the other way.

Unfortunately he tells me he has no idea how to use a computer, He is on Facebook using his phone, look for Harry Hier on my list mate.

Me and Harry must have passed each other hundreds of times, Today I was heading north out of NYC with my load for monday delivery and as I passed Sloatsburgh services who should come out of the exit road but our Harry :smiley:
We drove north together again to the next area, where I got a coffee,
