Terrible accident
Bad accident, with one dead and
at least two others injured, 1vsi,
and the 2nd a policeman who
both were taken to hospital,
The driver of the parked truck was
on the side of the road waiting for
the recoverywagon,and was okay
apart from suffering from shock,
The driver which caused the accident
was comeing out of a long right handed
bend,and was useing the (standstreifen)
emergenceystrip, instead of the correct
position on the road,
THE A2 was closed completly for (TWO)
2hours, and it took another (TWO)2 hours
before the road was completly clear and
free for traffic,…
The traffic around the area was imense
with a 10km plus traffic jam.
THE above is just a shortened version
how ever before i close, The germans have
some good ideas and one of these is the local
voluntary fire brigade which turn up at many
incidents, theabove was one of these.
Simply Horrendous Pictures.
Die A3 Richtung Köln musste für 2 Stunden voll und für weitere 2 Stunden teilweise gesperrt werden,
The A3 toward Cologne was totally closed for 2 hours and partly closed for another 2. How long do you think the road would have been closed for if that had happened on say the M1?
Driver in hospital with serious injuries and his co driver dead. That’s bad and if he survives he is going to have that to deal with.

…as long as it takes to process a potential crime scene.

But my point is it would likely be 3 times as long as it was in Germany.
If it was one of my loved ones involved, I would much rather the investigation be done properly, than rushed.
Not knowing the exact circumstances of this crash (or any that happen in this country for that matter) it could be that it’s a potential murder scene…

It’s very unlikely it’s a potential murder scene, murder involves intent. I doubt somebody intentionally caused the accident.
which is why that needs to be investigated… to rule it out.

And the Germans have done that in 4 hours.

Indeed, and I don’t think anyone could accuse the Germans of not being thorough.

If an incident came about through an act of deliberate intent then it would not be accident!

Would it not be a ‘staged’ accident that we hear so much about these days.

Indeed.
surely it is intent if the driver cant take a bend properly with out going on the hard shoulder.accident may not of happend if the driver had stayed within the lines.i have noticed this alot lately with the dutch they cant take a simple bend on a motorway without going on the shoulder and i dont mean driffting i have seen them turn deliberitly on to the shoulder.

So your saying he intended to kill his co-driver because he drifted out of his lane?? If I’m ever in trouble I hope your not on any jury hearing my case!!
Ross.

A mistake is not intent. I doubt he would go into the hard shoulder intentionally with vehicles in it
Luke, Coffee…We see it nearly every day over there. If they are not too busy cooking/ watching dvd’s/ texting etc…They are all over the place. It was a bad accident alright. But Imagine the scene. Flashing lights, slow moving vehicles perhaps. No-one knows except those that were there.
And the German police are very, very efficient.
