What a difference when Craig Charles sits in for Steve Wright, how can the people in charge at Radio 2 not see it is a much better show and should be there permanently instead of Steve Wright?

Listened to R2 all the time while pottering around DK until last week when I found out the old Talk Radio is back, think I’ve dumped R2, the only one I’ll miss is Ken Bruce to be honest…
YES … really going to miss Lynn Bowles … was really good at her job. Showing my age, but I remember Lynn from her early days on Radio 5 Live. I have been phoning (annoying ) Lynn with updates since then … got several signed photos … and still got an “original” unused “Bowles Patroller” sticker from Lynn’s days at Radio 5.
Like Bobbie Pryor as well … chatted to her several time when I have phoned in and Bobbie has “picked up” … Orna Merchant is “chatty” too

Chris read my text to her out this morning, and signed it as per my TN monicker. Read several reports that Chris tried right up until the last minute to presuade her to stay. Got a feeling it might be her stand in Jules Lang who might get the gig.
I too have rang in the afternoon, and Bobbie has answered it, although she doesn’t tend to namecheck people as much.

Er - the Old Woman (Joyce Frost) died a year or two ago. Be a bit difficult to bring her back now…
