Fat bird off Eastenders whose brother had a dog.
Midge Ure and Chrissie Hynde at Nostell Priory. I tried to give her a bit of old wrinkled leather. She is vegetarian and refused it politely.

The royal car was in Northampton in the late 90’s. The Queen was visiting something or other. Didn’t actually see her, just the car going past while the police outriders blocked every road they could.
Would love to have met Jeff Lynne. Best I can think of is Arthur Scargill at Wakefield train station. 
He was going for first class.
I was in London with my son a couple of years ago doing the tourist bit he was about 12 - 13 , we were up from the sticks in Cornwall , it was his first time in London We wandered into Leicester Square and a crowd had gathered , so we joined it out of curiosity and eventually it got quite large but we were at the front outside a Cinema for a film premier. We waited for about an hour and then the star of the film showed up and walked along the front of the carpet shaking hands with everyone including me and my son. The premiere was for TombRaider and the star was Angelina Jolie…she was GORGEOUS , Like a schoolboy i didnt wash that hand for days. 
As a post script when my son and me left our hotel the next day he asked me in all seriousness " i wonder what superstar we will see today , it must happen every day in London "
When my daughter was at uni in Liverpool, she took delight in telling me that she often saw the cast of Hollyhoax,

The year BBC Essex started, a few of us went to the Children in Need night at Hawkwell, and ended up getting on the lash afterwards with Suzi Quatro.
3 or 4 years ago, went to an album launch party in London and met, amongst others, Sophie Ellis Bextor and her hubby, Mark Lamarr, Badly Drawn Boy, and the host, Glenn Tilbrook (Squeeze).
My Dad made a lift lining for Marty Wilde, and went round to measure up for it, and met the man himself.When he was telling me about it, he mentioned that his daughter had been there as well. ‘You’d have liked her, she was a lovely girl’. Don’t think he realised that it was the same girl who was on my bedroom wall when I was a bit younger. I offered to deliver it when it was built, but he said he’d had no end of offers…

This was after the band had split after the court case with Gary Kemp.
Tony and his drummer were in a small town near Coimbra in Portugal.He had a band as well.
I saw the promotional signs and thought i would see them play.
It rained,and they asked to borrow the trailer sheet to protect the stage.
I declined as it weighs too much.
The concert was moved to a town hall.
They later went on to play at the Expo in Lisbon.
We shared some beer and played some football.Tony is doing very well as a solo artist and can still belt out a tune.
Had a 10.30am prompt drop off this morning in Bury had to ring a number 30 mins before arrival at this private house. Got there and met by the DIY SOS team as part of their big build BBC program. I got away at 4.45pm !! I got a few pics of me and Nick Knowles (top bloke) and Laurence Llewelyn Bowen (to55er) can’t upload from phone tho.

Reverend W Awdry of Thomas fame visited our school when I was 8, I suppose kids wouldn’t be interested in that sort of thing these days. I’ve seen Gwyneth Paltrow at the London Film Festival and Prince Charles at the Norfolk Show. I have also literally bumped into Barry’s wife Natalie from Eastenders on Charing Cross Road in London once
