My mate works for a small firm and he told me that the company digital tach card is out of date by two months. What is outcome of this and will there be any risk to him? The company are apparently using the download key but not the company card to download info.
Not drivers problem. Company needs to download data and store and to protect themselve, anylise.
Driver should have drivers card data downloaded but is employers responsabillity.
Oh and dont think the download key will work without company card.
The driver’s only responsibility is to make his card available for download. If the company can’t do that, it’s not his problem.
The company just need to get a new card.

Indeed you can, on the application forms it says
A company may hold a maximum of 2232 cards
But at £38 each it might not be the best available use of funds
