Exeter Services

Is there a pub within walking distance of Exeter Services which does food? Will probably be in there Thursday night for one reason or another and don’t particularly want to partake in the normal MSA food!!

Don’t mind a reasonable stroll

head out of services ,walk around roundabout head towards exeter ,pub[exeter arms] about a quarter mile on left . 10 minute walk.food is ok not bad prices . beer normal toby type stuff.
hope this helps.
regards tzz.

Google maps suggests this is about 400 yards away

About a 15min walk away is a pub called the barn owl on the junction where Moor lane meets Honiton road there is a really nice pub with resturant there cost me about £20 inc drinks its a safe walk and the food is 100 times better than the MSA it is next to the holiday inn express hotel and gets good reports locally

Thanks all, will make Thursday a little more bearable now

the black horse is the first pub going that way, just a half mile further is the Exeter Arms which also has HGV parking.

Tell me about it Steve!!! Very busy at the moment and we are putting a store into Princesshay Mall. As I have been doing the store I know whats needed and when so I have ended up with the short straw. There will be a few of us down there so its not all bad…hence needing to know where the nearest pub is

Rarely go Dover - Calais Steve unless heading into Belgium, holland etc. Prices vary but the last couple of times we shipped to Dunkerque, longer crossing but offset by less running. I have also been known to ship on GB’s account on the Tunnel as the more crossings they have, the better rates they get and the tunnel is currently vastly cheaper for them than the ferrys!
