Obviously this isn’t an issue, I’m just curious is all: how many HGV tests does and average test examiner do in one day? And would a 1pm test be their last one of the day?
3 or 4 I think, I don’t think 1pm would be the last
I’ve tested a max of 3 anymore than that can be a long day

4 is the normal plus a Mod 4. Or one test slot can become two Mod 4.s. Times vary locally. Our last test is about 2pm.
In summertime, as long as the union aren’t playing up, there is sometimes an additional test at around 3.30 because of the extra daylight.

A fulltime examiner would conduct 4 on road tests and have 1 CPC slot.
If more CPC 's were wanted an on road test would get split to provide two more.
Thanks for the info guys, I’ve got a 1pm test coming up and was curious if I’d be the last of the day. Hopefully my examiner will have had a nice lunch and be in a good mood 
Likely the 3rd test of the day. You will miss the am and pm school runs if you were concerned about them. No reason to think you will have any traffic problems at that time.
