Is it just coincidence that whenever Euroshittle has “Technical problems”
The ferries suffer from “operational difficulties”.
Or is it that there just isn’t enough capacity since DFDS and P&O managed to finish off Myferrylink?
The best bs statement from euroshittle, is when they are really busy and they say that they are operating normally, but there’s only 2or 3 trains each way per hour
The two boats that DFDS bought from MFL go back into service this month …so should take some pressure off

There should be a third as well it was reported at the time that euro tunnel kept the nord pas de calais
The best email we get of the tunnel is we are running 2 trains one way and 4 the other sorry for the disruption
At the height of the cross channel troubles last year, I recall hearing a shuttle press guy on the radio. The lady invited callers onto the radio station to discuss the chaos in Kent… He was asked why the trains statements and Twitter feed were still reporting 3 delays for the train when in reality 5/6/7 hours just to get into the terminal then 3 hrs to get on a train. He batted this point away with absolute urgency and the lady DJ did a Jeremy vine and cut the caller off after a quick good bye. The train becomes a comedy show when things go bad , but that pales into insignificance when compared to the boats
If Euroshittle was able to run at full capacity, how many trains would it run per hour?
Years back, when i used it regularly,it was usually a Spaniard having a triple blowout on one side of the trailer getting on or off that caused the delays.
Bring back the alternative crossings i say.

Euro Tunnel only ever say what the delay in the terminal is and to really that probably all they can report, as they know when a truck arrives at a booking in terminal and then gets on the train. But traffic reporting should give an idea of the delays before the terminal.

The whole of the UK’s transport system is creaking at the seams, road, rail, sea and air, it only takes one minor problem and it goes to pieces. It’s not the fault of the poor buggers on the ground, but years of under investment, inconsistent transport policy, NIMBYism and vested interests.
I believe Eurotunnel have pulled out of operating the NPC
