a swiss kw

a hull ships stores, sorrunded by curries.

On that Kenworth the steering wheel was too big for the cab & if you were not careful you would scrape yer knuckles on the bodywork. With Whites they reduced the size of the wheel to about size of a dinner plate. These cabs were designed by redundant aero engineers ,thats why it was all pop rivets & ali. They used to design a cab from the way it looked from the outside & just chuck all the furniture inside & hope for the best.Crap suspension. They had good beds ,tho’.
The only reason Freds had KW’s was because the son did his mechanic’s apprenticeship in the States, convinced his old man that KW’s were the bees knees. The big beds came in handy when Iran collapsed as the fleet was parked up all over the place due to lack of work.
