EURO-VINGETTE
When you cross into Luxemburg at WASSERBILLIG , you can get
the EURO-VINGETTE at the TOTAL Garage; THIS may help those who have not been able to get this before ,
There doesn’t appear to be a dedicated site with truck related info on Slovakia so here are some bits and pieces I picked up when I was there a couple of weeks ago:
Vignettes are required for all vehicles.
Cost for a vehicle over 12t (yellow sticker) is 10€/day. The vignette can be purchased at the border or at service stations in cash in Euros. Euros are widely accepted, so there is no real need to change up any currency.
A daily vignette is valid for 24 hours from the time of purchase. The time of purchase is indicated on a control slip which should be detached from the vignette and be retained for inspection if required. The vehicle registration number must be entered onto this control slip. The vignette itself should be stuck on the right hand side of the windscreen. Camera enforcement in operation.
Dipped headlights are now required at all times.
And finally, the biggy:
No overtaking for vehicles over 3,5 t on ALL Motorways and dual carriageways in the whole of Slovakia
This is signed up at the border but there are no repeater signs anywhere else on the road network.
Usual rules apply: Ignorance is no defence
,SLOVAKIA here are a few sites as well that may help LINK-1 LINK-2 LINK-3 LINK-4 ;TAKE NOTE OF THIS-Using a toll road without a valid vignette (i.e. without paying the toll) is punishable by a fine of between 300 and 800 euros. this link below us for SLOVENIA LINK-5–IN this site is alive link to a list where one can buy the vingette

These links are posted by me but Vascoingles made it possible by
translating the links where it was required,
SPAINISH-LINK
;List of Recommended Parking Places Along The Officially Authorised ADR Routes In Spain
basically just a list of where parking places for ADR can be found
Below is a translation of Spanish into English of the headings from the link,
Column A is the Area and the road it is on
Column Bis the km point
Column C is the name
Column D is the locality
Column E is whether or not lit E means badly lit B means well lit
Column F is whether or not guarded No means no 24 means guarded 24 hours
Column G is the amount of square meters available for parking purposes
At the bottom it says
Note : You may use this list in order to plan your journey and obligatory stops. It is not obligatory to use these parking areas. This list is only a guide and may be revised, and does not pretend to be a complete list and there may well be more adequate parking areas available along the routes than those mentioned in the list.
This is not an official list and the ones marked in yellow are the best prepared for ADR/HAZ use.
The Spanish bit just says that it is a list of ADR approved routes when travelling through Spain.
basically the law stipulates that you must stick to Autopistas/Autovia (Motorways & Dual Carriageways) unless there is none available to where you are going.
ROUTES marked with a ( * ) are not to be used between
0000—0600hrs
any complaints send ,em to me and ,THE Thank you,s to Vascoingles

euromat:
does anyone for the definitive answer to if there is a driving ban in luxembourg on a sunday?
There’s no BAN as such, BUT,
You can’t go into Luxembourg if you’re transiting it for Germany or France, on a Sunday.
If you’re tipping Lux’ you can.
Just before the border are two big yellow signs with the times when you can cross into Lux, 1 for Germany, 1 for Framce. They’re more or less the times when the bans start and finish in Germany or … France.
They don’t want their services jammed up solid with trucks on the slip roads in and out, going nowhere.
