Euro 6 daf CF SSC or daf XF normal non SSC

Good evening folks. Well I have a choice between the 2. I tramp. They want me to pull out of Theale again after moving me to Cardiff (request) a year ago. Now have been promised truck will still be based in Cardiff. But if go back up to Theale they will give me a new XF coming in march.

It’s using a special meters trailer for delivering fuel. Bit more graft but I’m easy going. But they have explicitly given me the choice…I tramp that won’t change. Will still run out of Cardiff Monday morning so that won’t change. So is the XF normal cab an upgrade to the SSC CF new cab I have at the moment. Never been in a XF so opinions please.

Money the same start location the same. BIt more graft but I get an XF. Hmmm

If you tramp then go for the XF. Heard they are huge inside.

XF space cab better in my eyes.

I’m trying to see if they will let me go to our daf dealer and have a nosey. I’m used to tramping in this CF. It does me. But if the daf XF has the same storage and this SSC CF then I’m sold. Flat floor is a bonus. Only thing that bothers me it’s that it’s the normal XF think it’s caled space XF instead of Super Spaced Cab. I’m hoping it’s just extra head height.

It’s just bigger lockers & more head room up top. You can stand in a space cab. Bunk in an XF is the best around.

Id rather stick with a BWOC CF
