ERF-Continental:
I recently overheard that the ERF LHD 5MW was operational with operator PEETHULTRA of Malle (B)
and possibly after Coulier/Wauters operated it for the Calor-account. I have also been told that the
tanker-trailer was from WAUTERS (a daughter-company of Coulier in Hamme) but feel free to add
or correct this info.Evening all,ā¦just a quick oneā¦need to do some work on the Combine`s Headerā¦
All totally correct, then she came in as a part exchange on the deal we did with Coulier for Berliet TR280s
Never knew what became of her, because I was sent to Italy before she was soldā¦and she had not done a lot of work at all.
Cheerio for now.
Unfortunately John (Saviem) can not confirm otherwise and the suggested ERF āEuropeanā on its relevant thread is possibly not an NGC (7MW) but a M-series (5MW).

Thank you for that thoughtful, and valuable piece of retrospective research. I remember this exchange but couldnāt find it on the 7MW thread. This may save us a lot of wasted time. Much appreciated. Cheers, Robert
@DEANB on your PM (which I cannot reply directly here) I can confirm that Ets. Thibaut from StrƩe also had a 5MW ERF-tractor (bought in 1973, registration 9.B.491 and chassis 22985) next to their later 7MW ERF-drawbar (bought in 1974, registration JJ.393 and chassis 24684) which often had a MOL-trailer attached. Somewhere I have a picture.
On your question on the French ERF-drawbar I need to verify again but earlier questions on relevant threads remained unanswered till now.
I also emailed you this but good other spectators get this feedback.

A calor gas 5MW.0
Nice dramatic setting! Was this one operated by Estra BV as well? The number plate looks vaguely British - pity the number is indiscernable. Looking at the headlights, that might be a 3MW cab. Robert

Similar or ājustā another of the fleet?
Estra B.V. was founded by Piet van Es (ESTRAnsport) from Europoort-Rotterdam.
Thanks Dean for your thorough research, attached a fleet-picture

Looks more like a 5 to me. The plate says NBH566M, plus or minus a bit.
Ah- well done! Robert

Rushden was a Calor Transport depot, I understand. Incidentally, it was this depot from which the 7MW-cabbed ERF NGC was disposed from (see Calor thread). Robert
rushden was originally monks transport , did a lot of continental from there , even after calor, we painted quite a few from monks to calor , think thereās a 110 on the calor thread. they couldnāt get the hang of this steel cab though , had a lot of bumps (so we were told at the time) , so they sent it off to Holland. all the new ERFās etc we painted for calor were sent over from rushden
Iāve found the 110 photo

Tony, have you got any more photos of the MW7 or MW5 ?
Heres a couple of others.
Click on page to read.
Love the MAT pic. Pity we canāt tell if it was LHD or RHD - or does someone out there know? The bottom pic is dealt with admirably by ERF-C earlier in the thread. Robert
Hi Robert
If you can blow it up enough to read the reg & or owner I may well be able to find out.
Cheers
Rich
