ERF: keeping the wheels of industry turning -
Still at it.
No.30 on the register: seen here in Slappendel livery (after it was with Groenenboom and before it went to Trans Arabia).
Another one of those weird Littlebigtrux resin NGC models on ebay this week. I commented in detail on these on page 177 (01/04/22). I only wish PKC model NGCs were as easy to obtain!
Just some proceedings on Wilhelminakade where quite some companies were active.
Mark up the König DAF and some years later the NGC was for sure doing some shunting
One for Deano here! A new pic of UGE, from FB sent to me this morning.
I bring you glad tidings, this glorious Autumnal afternoon, from FB via a friend. These three pics were apparently taken by someone who was 17 at the time and travelled with his father who drove said NGC.
I have identified it as KFH 248P, from another photo taken by Jeff Johnson showing the unit parked between the Davies Turner DAF and the F89 on the docks at Tartus in Syria, waiting to cross to Volos in Greece. I imagine they would have been returning from Baghdad which was a regular run for them. That too, is possibly where the picture of the partly stripped tilt was taken. Love the way these pics continue to turn up when you least expect 'em!

For reference, here’s the pic taken on Tartus docks I mentioned above ^^^.

A tentative link here. You remember the Calor / Estra NGC. Here’s a C-series ERF with a Coulier tanker.

Hi Ro
Don’t know if this picture has been on before but it turned up on a FB page today.0
Thank you! Yes, we have this one. This Swiss operator ran two NGCs, one of which did Middle East. The one in the picture was driven by ‘Harry’ who used to post on here.

Not an ERF European. It is either a 3MW or 5MW cabbed export model for Oz or NZ. Plenty of these on the RHD ERF 5MW thread
