Hiya,Seen this one before…?
Cheers, Patrick
Yes! The picture was taken by Leo Mes and as you probably know Vermeulen did a mixture of construction site haulage and allied heavy haulage in Holland. Robert

What about this one?
Aye, that one was taken by Dutch photo-journalist Niels Jansen for Truckstar magazine. Both pics above appear in Lorries of Arabia book 1, and on this thread. But don’t give up Patrick! DEANB recently posted a lot that we’d already seen and suddenly struck a rich seam and gave us loads of new pictures! Cheers, Robert

Hahaha don’t worry mate, I won’t give up that easily! Thing is though, I’ve seen so many pic’s that I can’t seem to remember whether it’s been shown before or not…
Cheers, Patrick

Found on the net Rob,dont remember seeing it before. Shame about the sign !0
Woah! Yes, that’s a new one! As you say, shame about the sign but it’s still a good picture - nice and clear. This was Chris Till’s motor. The Seddon in the background also did the Baghdad run, BTW. Thanks for posting it . Robert
Here is a flyer sent out by Old Pond this afternoon for the Retro show at Gaydon this weekend. Robert
Good news! We appear to have found a ‘new’ NGC, or rather David Pilcher has, as his picture in REVS magazine indicates. He took the picture in Ipswich and says the unit is French (which the number plate, though unreadable, seems to support). Notice too, the Arabic writing on the bumper, from which we can infer that it did, or was on, Middle-East work. This would be the 74th NGC I can currently account for. Can any of you French lads identify the livery?

Ive just found some old Commercial Motor magazines from 1975 , 1 has an advertisement in for a European ERF , not sure if you
ve seen it before RobertRobert

I’ve just had another look at that number plate, and I wonder if perhaps it’s a picture of this Swiss NGC (see below). For now, I’m going to assume that they are one unit; so false alarm then, but nice to have a new photo. Robert

Is it this advert, Ramone? Robert
I recently acquired a copy of TRUCK magazine with the '75 Euro-Test in it. I notice some adverts in the back which might amuse. More importantly, Pat Kennett’s editorial to that June issue - which I haven’t seen before - had some very positive things to say about the ERF NGC being up there with the European competition, attempting to bust the myth that Continental was always better. Here are the pages. Robert

That one is a stunner. The design of the paint job makes the most of the shape of the cab. It is almost as pretty as an LB110.

I think they are definately the same vehicle, bearing in mind 91 built and you know about 73. That leaves
18 you dont know about. What are the chances of one of the 18 having the same spray job with the white
strips etc. Unless the company had bought 2.
Not sure if this one of Cauvas has been on before.(Looks heavy)

Thanks for the confirmation opinion and attention to the Swiss unit. Your pic shows the Cauvas ERF MCC that used to belong to Hye of Belgium and was re-cabbed with an 8MW following an accident. And yes it’s been on before. Cheer Dean! Robert

The Sandbach Scania strikes again! Those Dutch NGCs fitted with non-standard plastic coloured sun-visors always seem to look a little more Scania-esque. In fact, I often go through online pics of the LBS model to check for 7MW cabs that have lost their ‘ERF’ badge and been inadvertently placed in the wrong category by hasty collators! Robert
This might be a “new” one…?
