Just imagine how well the NGC would have done in Europe if it had had an ERF-Aid along the lines of DAF-Aid! I experienced the helping hand of DAF-Aid many times abroad and I didn’t realise how good it was until I experienced Iveco 24-hour Service, which meant it took 24 hours to get to you! But at least they did get to you. Robert

Nah! Sold on its own merit, mate Robert
Went on the Toprun site one day and was confronted with this. Needless to say, I was VASTLY impressed! Robert
NEWS on the publication front, as follows.
Firstly, we have Lorries of Arabia: Part 2 to look forward to in April (possibly earlier).
Secondly, the current print run of Lorries of Arabia: ERF NGC is due to run out early this summer. In readiness for this, I have submitted a number of corrections, revisions and minor alterations for a much-improved 2nd edition.
Thirdly, to use up some of that previously unseen material that wasn’t included in either of the books and that was contributed on condition that it would not be used on the internet, I have written two articles for REVS News International magazine and am now starting a third. The first article, ERF, Sand and Stars is due out next month; the second article, King of the Mountains should appear in late spring; and the third, ERF’s Long Haul Pioneer will appear later on.
As it is unlikely that there will be a third book, the REVS magazine seems to be an ideal place to share organized chunks of NGC news and pictures in the future. Anything that appears elsewhere in cyber space, I will continue to share on this thread.
Robert
For reference only, here is the link to the thread that saw the introduction of the first book to TNUK:

I was emailed this picture this morning. It’s one I haven’t seen before. The vehicle itself we know about, of course: it was pre-registered N-03-66, then registered 34-UB-99 then in 1980 re-registered 91-99-HB; and operated by heavy haulage specialists, Vermeulen of Nieuwekerk a.d. Ijssel in the Netherlands. Robert
New to Albert Dale from Stoke-on-Trent, then sold on to John Simmons.

Wow - excellent find ‘adr’! And your information is correct too. There are several pictures of this lorry on this thread but the one you have posted is entirely ‘new’ to it. Thank you for posting it.
That’s two new NGC pictures in one day. Marvellous!
Robert

OK thanks. These are a different model and could go on the thread called ‘RHD ERFs with 5MW cabs’, which is just a few threads down the page from this one this evening! Robert

No problem old mate! I’d rather you risked posting something that doesn’t quite fit than holding back and missing the opportunity to share a gem with us (like the one you posted before!). . So keep 'em coming! Robert
