There’s a Nice low Milage E14 wrecker on eBay .
Herewith some extractions out of continental brochures with thanks to Mr. Claude Colossio of Reims in France
Has anyone had a E series with the built in Britain badges not on the handles but about a foot above on the cab and the orange and red stripes on the door upholstery and the seat base or was it just the protertypes in the brochures ?

Hello Dan, the 1st E series’ had the stripes on the door cards and seat base’s. The high-back on the drivers seat had them as well. Dont think they turned’em out like that for long though, 1st two years of production max i reckon. Your’s looked good at Gaydon mate, watched you leave, and sounded lovely through the ERF stack . Chris.
Thanks Chris ,( good job I didn’t find one of those 12 neutrals that drivers talk about ey ).looking in the brochure the 2 plastic panels around the steering column have a 3rd panel which goes over them directly under the steering wheel yet I’ve never seen any in production .
Think the one we’ve just sold had the stripes on the high back seat. That was a late 1989 model.
However that’s assuming it was the original seat.

Marc ,I mean the stripes on the base ,they’ve all pretty much got them on the back part ,anyone got a round dead man like in the brochure ? I think most were changed ,there was a call back on them and the T shaped ones were fitted.

Stripes on the base? They are normally worn down to the foam aren’t they ?!
Suppose you were discussing the looks of attached upholstery?
I did try since thursday to input but digital problems hindered
They’re the ones ,that lunch looks like the same one used in the Volvo f10/12 brochures it’s lasted well !
Well Dan, Volvo had a lunch with White and MAN with ERF…history was written and we’re still hungry!
Glad you confirm the pics!
Good job and compliments you challenge to come as close to the original!
We had a (diesel supply) rep who used to call in; his suit was EXACTLY the same material and pattern as the early E series trim … I think his tailor had a job lot of offcuts from Sandbach !!
OK, in stead of trucks we are now dealing with textiles?
