Thought you might like to see some pictures of the ERF’s I have restored over the past few years and still have. I am currently restoring a 1971 64G four wheeler which was new to D C Thompson, Dundee & would be grateful if anyone has any pictures or information about these lorries when they were working as I hope to put it back to original spec’. Wow, they are fab, I especially love that C series
ERF with trade plates just on me way to get it’s MOT then or has it just been out on road test -
thought you couldn’t use trade plates for a £ load even back then -

They aren’t trade plates! They’re Maltese number plates. The picture is from Malta (spot the palm tree!). Robert

very nice a local chap,ex-haulier,still has an old ERF 44G (i think) with aGardner 120 engine in his garage.i’m trying to persuade his family to restore it.

I didn,t think an ERF thread would be complete without some pics. of the many ERF,s that Rugby Cement operated over the years.
Here,s a few from the “KV” to the “C” series .
If you look closely at the pic. of F/N 277 you will see that the “air-con” is turned on!!
