The above pic showed an ERF with a 5MW cab and a 6x4 unit with a 4MW cab. Here’s one with a 6MW cab. Robert

RAN648R Was also a Leicester Heavy Haulage ERF.

You are right there, and here’s a picture to prove it! It was an MDC with a 6MW cab and an NTC 335 engine. Robert

That photo looks like Brush Loughborough .

Here’s a nice KV wrecker. This photo was taken at a show 30 years ago. I wonder if it is still around?

Another piece of fine art by Benkku, from the Drawings from Past to Future thread. Robert

Thought you might like to see some pictures of the ERF’s I have restored over the past few years and still have. I am currently restoring a 1971 64G four wheeler which was new to D C Thompson, Dundee & would be grateful if anyone has any pictures or information about these lorries when they were working as I hope to put it back to original spec’. Cheers.

Hi,
I didn,t think an ERF thread would be complete without some pics. of the many ERF,s that Rugby Cement operated over the years.
Here,s a few from the “KV” to the “C” series .
If you look closely at the pic. of F/N 277 you will see that the “air-con” is turned on!!

Cheers Bassman

Must have hit a manhole cover and jolted the passenger window down: they were apt to slip as they got older! Robert
