Went to Gaydon Classic June 2006 and Miles Fox (Clitheroe) let me sit in the cab (like a big kid) of his lovely G reg ERF tipper just for old time’s sake
It was just how I remember the LV - I’m sure ours had huge black Lucas switches up by the sun visor for the indicators

top one gardener 150 smoked like a pig for first ten mile whatever the weather ,lol.
middle one carn,t remember what engine in this but it was,nt up to much,.
bottom one 325 tractor unit streched with midlift ,pig to get round corners.

Hiya BSPaul, JM was one of the origional old Westmorland Nos which in 74/75 was re-allocated to the reading area and I’m not 100% sure but the United Glass head office was down there somewhere,I once met the then boss of Robsons/United Glass,Herbert Nettleship, at a function in London and I’m sure he was based west of London.Looks to me that your ERF was part of a batch for Robsons who at that time were part of the United Glass group.Cheers Bewick
