Hello all ,happy new year to you all.
Does anyone know anything about this stuff and a substitute for it if there is one ?
Near £40 a ltr
It alike adblue only for a car
Thanks
Dee
Your out of luck, 2 choices bite the bullet or have the system switched off!
4 and a half litres for £118, cheapest on fleabay, and it is nothing like adblu!
i am after the same thing for my car. Once its filled it then needs to be pluged into a computer to have the level reset.
Its not cheap but as said bite the bullet. If there is a substitute i would’nt risk it tbh besides it lasts for 50 thousand +
I’m with weeto. If it is out of warranty get it turned off.
Most engine tuning places do it.
If its for a Peugeot the preferred option is a large drill bit through the cat and a resistor on the sensor, then add some diesel in the eloys tankThere’s Loads online do a search
I know adblue is different because it’s water based but they do the same job ,reduce polution ,and empty your pockets, think I’ll get it removed altogether .
Has anyone gutted one out and remapped

I did a Citroen C5 2.2 hdi, I have the mapping software and a cable is required oh and of course a laptop, and your free labour.
Cable to connect the car to the laptop is about 20 quid off fleabay, the software is available off the internet, although it is counterfit, so couldn’t possibly post a link on here, incidentally the software will also disable adblue on some trucks!

Hope it passes the MOT.
No idea what this is or what it does, except as described above.
I assume that it is for lowering emissions and therefore your tax will be based on it, if you disable or remove it would it alter your vehicles tax band (assuming they find out!)

It will, as long as the original exhaust minus the guts are left on the vehicle and the sensors are in place still and obviously there are no lights showing on the dashboard which there won’t be if the job is done properly.

Yes this is my understanding .
I know they can’t be removed.
Thanks
