I’ve just written a piece about these for my Canadian Column, I’m not looking forward to them in some ways, but welcome them in others, what’s your thoughts on them

Plus side is that you can prove that you didn’t do something someone
says you did.
Negative side is that it puts the driver between owner, shipper, and the law.
Everybody will want their pound of flesh, and of course it can prove you did
something someone says you did 
Personally, its coming anyway so chin up 
Any idea what form the EOBR will come in? will it be like a digi tacho, with a driver card that goes with the driver? or is it going to be 1 unit per vehicle and 1 vehicle per driver ?
How will it affect Canada only drivers? What about companies that only run provincially ?
Will there be a requirement for only new vehicles to be fitted with them?
Will companies have to retrofit them to their older fleets ?
