I wonder if anyone can throw any light on the Nestle contract loss by Stobart in the Midlands,as well as transport Stobart has lost the Bardon warehouse work as I understand Nestle are having a new one built.

it’s been on the cards for at least the last three years that bardon has been closing, xpo (who run the contract at nestle waters buxton) came in with a cheaper quote than stobart too win the contract, stobart will still be pulling for nestle from all there other sites like the rest of the contracted hauliers do and even out of the new warehouse at Leicester

well that aint a suprise really, everytime i loaded out of there i had too call york too tell them the load would be late deliverd, there response always was “well thats no suprise what time do you think you’ll get there and i’ll add an hour too that time”. glad i left the curtainsider game and went back too flats no ■■■■■■■ around rdc’s anymore and no load security issues either
