No longer a truck park. Council sold the land for building

You can park at the sommerfield on the A27 at polegate but the place only has about 6 spaces I last stopped there about 3 months ago just clear it with the
staff first it realy is first come first served
That’s right and there’s a cafe that opens at 6.30 am, although I don’t know if it’s any good.

Follow signs from A22 (new bypass just opened around Polegate). Head for the Eastbourne Industrial estates. It doesn’t matter which direction you come from, they’ll all bring you out onto Lottbridge Drove.
Head towards seafront, which will bring you past all Ind estates (Tescos on right open 24 hours), cross major roundabout and you’ll pass the Truck Park on your right. At next roundabout in front of Sovereign center (Swimming pool complex), take the 4th exit into the Truck Park.
If coming in from Hastings, turn left at Little Chef (roundabout) on marsh road. Left at first lights, and continue onto Eastbourne, heading for town center (about 4 miles). Eventually you’ll come to large roundabout with Lottbridge drove on your right, you can see tescos (on right), and staples (office superstore) will be in front of you, turn left here, and truck park on the right.
There is a pay machine, and washing facilities. Good regular bus service into town (1 mile), plenty of local pubs within walking distance of Park, plus the swimming pool is open until 7pm if you feel energetic.
