I couldn’t tell as I’ve never met the bloke.
Take no notice Glen…JEALOUSY GETS YOU NOWHERE!
Yes, don’t refer to the Czech Republic as “eastern Europe”, the locals get the hump about it and insist it’s “central Europe”.

No worries
I suggest the OP contacts Carryfast, he’s an expert in this field and will be able to put him right
I can see it now you need a van with a 7 litre v8 petrol engine and the most efficient way would be to travel via morroco and a maximum of four hours a day.
you will need a vignette for romania. available on the border. and at most garages.
but get it on the hungarian side at the border, you’ll need the vehicle docs.
watch your speed. that’s all they bother about over there.

Now why would I need to talk to Carryfast, from what I have ever read of his posts he just talks drivel.

Yes it was just a bit of a joke old bean. Sometimes people will joke on your topics, par for the course on a forum!
I’ve been likened to Carryfast on another thread…I quite like the comparison!
Drive on the right!
Watch out for horse and carts without lights too.
Is theft an issue too in R?
never had any probs in romania or czech if you,ve got a tacho dont speed
people are ok and a fair few speak english try not to run the locals over they dont like that
they will try to make you pay for the rest of there lives, and yes thay drive there horse and carts at night no lights.
As to czech it was always okay before it split up. The last time i was there, was when they were going inderpentant
and you had to stop on the main road going from bratislava to brno to do your paper work and at night they all used to turn there lights off, there were no street lights, people were getting killed running into the back of the trucks parked on the main road no where else to park
Czech is pretty much the same as the rest of Europe these days. No hassle atall. Rumo is a bit more behind but basically go steady.
There will be road taxes to pay in both countries !
