First thing I did was call my son who lives in Macau but travels to Bangkok every weekend to visit his girlfriend. She is fine but was hurrying home from work to check on the cats. In fact this was a rare weekend for him when he wasn’t going there. Off this afternoon from Hong Kong to Amsterdam, change for Birmingham, meet his 2 kids and catch the flight to Dublin. Then do the whole thing in reverse next weekend. And I thought I was the traveller in the family.
