Anyone else here using the DVSA’s
“The Official DVSA Theory Test and Hazard Perception Kit for Drivers of Large Goods Vehicles”?
What do you think?
I have “invested” in it and am currently working through the “Hazard Perception” section.
I think that the overall concept is good, and is, I am sure based on the actual test…
BUT!
The film-clips are of such appalling quality! You GENUINELY cannot read the road-signs!
Please tell me that these are not the ones used in the actual test!
If my eyes were actually this bad, I would have a white stick, and would apply for a guide-dog!
(I have a very good PC, and a brand-new monitor easily capable of showing UHD and QHD in extraordinary detail)
(And yes, I have the D4 eye-test, provided by my optometrist!)

Dvsa don’t use these film clips no more because of the poor quality, you best learn on the CGI clips because that is the type you get tested on.
Also just to warn you…the clips will be completely different to the one ones on there, so don’t make the mistake of thinking the ones you are learning on will be the ones you get on test.
