I recived a letter from the dvla with a licence renewal pack saying my licence is due to expire 26/2/22 however both the online check and my physical card say it doesnt expire until 24/12/24.
The letter from the dvla says i have to respond or they will revoke my licence has anyone had this before?

Sounds a bit odd unless you are over seventy and you renew every three years.
My licence has a 2022 expiry date on the front for Class C & D and a 2024 expiry date on the back for Class B.

Got the same letter. I am 68, but not renewing my truck licence. Car licence until 2024 as I will be 70 then. 
It might be because your photo is coming up to 10 years old. Your licence doesn’t just need renewing because you need a medical or you hit 70, it also needs renewing every so often because of how old the photo is so if you’ve not changed the photo on it for 10 years that’ll be the reason. Look on the front of the licence at what the date of 4b is as that’s the date it expires because of the photo.

still says 24/12/24 i seem to remember updating my photo about 6 years ago

thats prob it as i will be 45 the day after however why they put the experation date on the licence as 12/24 i dunno.
Its probably because you need to have a medical at 45!!
