30 years ago I would have pointed you to the “seafront” and directed you to the Hole in the Wall. However it seems as though everything is in the past and even one of the best nights in Scotland went, along with the lay-by outside Tom Carruthers yard 
come along the a75 heading for the west coast take the road for kilmarnock/ayr as you go up here there is a small industrial estate sitting on your left hand side just back from main road.
Think THIS is the place curly means.
Always trucks parked the length of this road of a night.
24 hour Tesco just round the corner going into town on the Glasgow Road.
15 minute walk into town centre.
just the job thanks, got to install a machine in the morning in Tescos, only not this one they are building another new one just south of the town, but with what the office have for me this will give me a good start on the day. cheers J
its time T * S C o started a chain of truckstops anyway. they do everything else now .
there is a designated lorry park in town centre, only a couple o minutes walk from the hole in wall.
