Finally, having had no tests since 19th March, we’ve received our quota of tests for the next couple of weeks. A bit less than our normal but this could have been much worse.
The team are busy sorting out the diary and will be in touch with everybody, in order, in due course.

That’s great news.
I actually rang up the office at 9:00am this morning to pay for my C+E in full, well 99.9% of it, and spoke to 2 different girls, when I asked about tests they said that none had been issued, this is despite tests going ahead by next Monday, at this point I asked if it was still wise to pay for it now or to hang fire and see what unfolds, I was told that, ‘’ that decision was up to me ‘’, so I decided not to pay at that moment in time, nobody wants to lose their money or whatever as these are definitely uncertain times.
However, on this information, I’ll be ringing up again tomorrow.
So seems you have now been issued tests, lets say you were to get no more tests, or at least no more for a while, how long would them tests last with the amount of numbers of people booked in before all this happened ? IE have you been given 2 weeks worth of tests, 3 weeks worth of tests or even longer ?
Anyway Pete, it’s absolutely great news to hear you’ve been given actual tests, onwards and upwards.

I understand your concerns. This is, as the politicians keep saying, a fast moving situation. We finally got official confirmation of our test allocation at 4.45 yesterday. The grapevine told me an hour or so earlier. And the tests we have are for next week. But, if the system works correctly, we’ll get further allocations tomorrow for the following week or two.
It makes our life very difficult but we’re working through the list in order so as to be absolutely fair to all.

Getting more tests possibly tomorrow isn’t half bad really, I can see why it would be frustrating though.
It could be that they maybe don’t want to flood one driving school with tests when that driving school could currently be stagnating while another school is a lot busier but is going without tests because so many used tests are been used up by other stagnating schools, you might be able to tell that I haven’t got a clue what am talking about he he he, but am just guessing really.
I rang up this morning as promised and paid for C+E, it is starting to feel like I will be doing training and test soon now, when everything was on hold for a few months it was starting to feel like it may never happen, and 3 months felt more like 6.
It’s surely got to get better from here on in.
