What would you do if there is a truck that belong to company A parked on land of company B and company B wants you to move it somwhere else on their land.
You work for company C
Ask someone from company d to do it
I did. Got banned from the office
All on private land?
If Mr B asks Ms C, and my own boss Ms C, firstly asks the owner A, then asks me to do it I probably would.
As I see it that way no oneâs nose is put out of joint.
With smart phones and instant e-mails etc it takes little effort to do it properly.
But as the situation is explained, I donât think I would.
The vehicle owner hasnât given you permission.
You are not operating for your employer.
How does insurance work in this case should something go wrong while moving this truck?
If your employer is telling you to do summat, then they take responsibility for what you are doing. So, their insurance has some responsibilities.
If someone, other than your own employer tells you to do something, and you choose to do it, you are responsible.
If not insured then tough> you pay.
I am open to correction on the above.
Is this related to the the other post about âsomeone used my truck on the road because it was parked on their landâ?
No, its second incident. But its the same person who sent one of his lads on public road with no right to drive hgv
By god that firm has some Muppets working for them if they do some thing their so called supervisor says thatâs clearly illegal
If i didnât need to move it i wouldnât.
If it was blocking my vehicle in then I would, then eat that bar of chocolate in his fridge to punish him.
Itâs probably out of date, thatâs why itâs still there.
Valid point lol
You could still move it in a straight line which is about all youâd be capable of if you were stupid enough to move someone elseâs truck in the first place!
Not if it was parked with a partially or full lock on, which if you suspected someone might try it, you would definitely do
Are they available in right hand drive. Versions
Only if you use your mirrors!
This is why cousins shouldnât procreateâŚ

I think the fact that the big metal thing will be having a close encounter of the testicular kind probably makes the standard model reasonably effective
