depends on what experiance you have, where you are, what you are willing to do. n w highlands aint big on transport firms, ouite a few o/d’s but you could try some of these
dsteven-son.co.uk/
192.com/atoz/business/tain-i … fc5b/comp/
they have about 20 trucks on the road
highlandhaulage.com/
drmacleod.net/

i dont know if any of these are taking on at the minute but you could ring to find out

It would help if you narrowed the locatin down a bit. There is not much in the way of industry in the N,W, Highlands.Mainly agriculture or forestry work for drivers.

and the midges love new blood lol

We have covered most of Scotland from /Glasgow upwards for the last twenty odd years. Kids have left home and its our time now. We have another little business which is mail order and can go anywhere. I was thinking of driving to make ends meet. Ideally nearer part time than full on stuff. Midgies use me as a mobile feeding station and you don’t go to Scotland evry year for 20 odd years if rain bothers you.

Good luck with your move…a great place to be i love the islands, money isnt everything but you need to live , a modest lifestyle mite be the sacrifice for the peace of mind in your quest, give it a go nothing ventured nothing gained.

As scotstrucker and animal have said, Fergusons would be your best bet.
A friend of mine got a start recently when he moved back up there after living in Glasgow for awhile.
